Hannah Mettler
Hannah Mettler began her dance training at the age of three primarily training in classical ballet and rhythm tap. She began jazz and contemporary training in high school and loves the variety there is in different styles of dance. Hannah credits her training to Christine Taylor, Luba Gulyava, and Dorothy Wasserman of North Jersey School of Dance Arts in Hackettstown, NJ. Hannah continued her dance education at Messiah College in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania graduating with dual degrees in Dance and Psychology as the first dancer on campus to receive the Volmer Scholarship of the Arts. During her collegiate career she had the opportunity to take her love of dance to Guatemala to serve the native population through Potter's House Ministries and also choreograph work and dance for Shining Light, an organization that takes professional artists into prisons to inspire hope and redemption to those on the inside.
Following college, Hannah had the opportunity to dance with Denise Caston of Caston & Company, guest perform with North Jersey School of Dance Arts and freelance before accepting a position with Ad Deum 2 Dance Company in Houston, TX. After two years in Ad Deum, 2, Hannah was promoted to Ad Deum Main Company in 2019. This is Hannah's third year teaching at Miss Boni's and is delighted to inspire other students with the love of dance and performing that she has had her entire life.
