After competing in Rhythmic Gymnastics she continued her dance training with South Texas Dance Theater and became a part of the Southwestern Regional Ballet Association. At age 19 she had the honor of having one of her contemporary ballet's be the opening number for the Emerging Choreographers Show Case in Louisiana.
